Since the price of gas has skyrocketed, and everything else has gone up, I decided to start making my own bread and jelly.
(This recipe is good for bread, rolls, bread sticks, and pizza crust.)
Whole Wheat Pizza Dough
1 T active dry yeast
1/4 c warm water
1 t honey
3/4 c cold water
1 T olive oil
1/2 t sea salt
1 c whole wheat flour
1 3/4 to 2 c unbleached all-purpose flour
In a bowl, stir yeast & warm water together, add honey, and set aside for 10 mins or until foamy.
In a glass measuring cup, combine cold water, oil and salt. Add to yeast mixture.
In food processor, combine whole wheat flour and 1 3/4 cup of unbleached flour in the bowl. With motor running, add liquid mixture in a steady stream and process for about 15 seconds or until well combined. Gradually add enough of remaining white flour until mixtures forms a ball, and then knead by processing for 20 seconds.
Put dough in lightly oiled bowl and turn to coat with oil.
Let dough rise, covered loosely with plastic wrap or towel, in a draft free place for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until doubled.
Punch down dough, roll out on a whole wheat floured surface to fit a 14 inch pizza pan that has been sprinkled with cornmeal.
Bake crust only for 10 minutes at 375 degrees, remove from oven and add sauce and other toppings.
Bake pizza for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
(For bread, just take out of processor and put in bread loaf pans to rise then bake. For rolls take out of processor and shape into rolls to rise and bake.)
(For pizza toppings I use tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and whatever else I have in the way of veggies)

Jelly Recipe
In a blender mix a chopped up mango, T. of honey and a little orange juice to make it the desired consistency. You may try this with any fruit. I made some with one mango, one nectarine and a banana and it was equally as good.
Spread on toast and enjoy!

Four years and 4 months
It has been four years and four months since I heard that horrible statement, "You have cancer".
It has been 34 months ago since I was told that other horrible statement, "Your cancer is back".
It has been 32 months since I started taking better care of myself and eating better.
It has been 32 months since I started a new relationship with my Lord.
It has been 28 months since I started spreading the good news that my pet scan came back with less cancer cells and the ones that were still there were smaller ones.
It has been 28 months of rejoicing with my loved ones that I after praying for wisdom to know what to do about the return of the cancer, He answered me.
It has been one week since we celebrated Jesus' resurrection and His unending love for us. What a great celebration it was!

Strengthening Exercises
My husband and I bought an used bow flex machine a few years ago and like most exercise equipment we didn't use it very much and eventually loaned it to our son who did put it to use. He recently moved to San Diego, so we have the bow flex back. We don't have much room in our 1100 square foot home, so I suggested to my husband that we could put it back in the spare room and take the bed out only if we were going to use it, because that's the only spare bed we have. So true to his word, he has made us a workout routine for each day. After 2 weeks of strengthening exercises I can really tell the difference. It's quite nice to have someone to workout with. Blessings upon blessings...............

Twenty-four Months
Twenty-four months - that's how long it has been since I started eating the way God wanted me to so I could get well. I am still doing great and still getting great lab reports. I am still praising my God. :)

The Original Garden
Though man has wandered far from the original garden setting into which God placed His first human creations, it was there in that very first chapter of Genesis God revealed His original intent for the proper nourishment of not only the physical bodies of Adam and Eve but each one of us living today.
As time passed man started wandering further and further from the garden foods God originally ordained for human nourishment and began eating foods not found in the garden.

(How true that is~I don't think Cocoa-Puffs were in the garden) ( It truly is a no-brainer why so many people are sick with cancer and other diseases.) (We all know what the cure is~eat the garden foods)
