I Caught Your Faith
I saw you stand steadfast in grief
But saw no trace of unbelief.
I saw you stand unmoved by stress
But saw no trace of bitterness.
I saw you stand bravely for years
But saw no trace of senseless fears.
Though you spoke not of faith's firm law,
I caught your faith by things I saw.
But saw no trace of unbelief.
I saw you stand unmoved by stress
But saw no trace of bitterness.
I saw you stand bravely for years
But saw no trace of senseless fears.
Though you spoke not of faith's firm law,
I caught your faith by things I saw.
Quilt
During my radiation (:p) the first time I had cancer, my friend from church who makes beautiful quilts, made me a friendship quilt. I mentioned this in an earlier post but wanted to show you the picture. She left squares for others in church to write "get well wishes" on them. When I received the quilt I just couldn't believe the love that went into making that quilt and the love that was shown to me in those squares. I will treasure it forever. I praise God for my church family. :)

Sugar
Okay - If there is one thing you people have got to stop doing - it's eating refined sugar. Try with all your might to stop eating anything with sugar. If you start eating fruit in its place you won't feel the urge to grab a candy bar. I've done it, and it works. Second thing is to stop eating all the meat that has been infected with only God knows what. Americans are eating so unhealthy......we are utterly killing ourselves. Just try to change your eating habits one day at a time. Pleezzzzeee!

Love of the Lord
The love of the Father
is like a sudden rain;
shower that will pour
forth when you least
expect it, catching you up
into wonder
and praise.....:)

Including God in All Things & Receiving God's Blessings
I want to say that including God in all things you do is so very important. When I drink my carrot juice or the "milk" from Sanders Lab, I praise God for the healing properties that are in the drink. When I clean my juicer, I thank God for it instead of complaining how time consuming it is to clean (which is what I think of first to do - complain I mean). God has blessed me in so many ways. I was shopping while I was away in Branson with my sisters and cousins, and we went into every store looking. I thought to myself - I would love to buy some of these cute clothes, but they were just too expensive for me and my budget. One of the stores was Liz Claiborne. When I got home my brother-in-law had brought over bags of clothes from his wife who cleaned out her closets. You know what was in there? Liz Claiborne blouses and sweaters................You just can't out give God........Just no way.

Wok
God is so good to me. He is my best friend. I just happened to think I would like a Wok to cook with. You know, try some different recipes and different type cooking and what do you know, I found a nice one at a garage sale for $1.00. I praise Him for all things.
